Something From Me!
I thought this would be fun to do:
The first 5 people to respond to this post will receive something made by me for you. I get to pick what I make for you, but it will be especially for you.** But here's the deal:
1. I make no guarantees that you will like what I make!
2. What I create will be just for you.
3. It will be done sometime this year.
4. You have no clue what it will be.
5. I reserve the right to do something extremely strange.
** The Catch? The catch is that you must repost this on your blog and offer the same to the first 5 people who do the same on their blog. The first 5 people to do so and leave a comment telling me they did will win a FABULOUS homemade gift by me (and possibly Sam if I can get his help)!!! So come and play along.

Boring?
I love looking at blogs. Some of them are people are I know and some of them are people I have never met and probably never will! I love to see what they are doing, the pictures they post, and the thoughts they have. In doing all this I have decided I lead a very boring life! Everyone seems to have something to say or something they are doing! So I am vowing to become more exciting! To take more pictures, to do more things, and to have more to say (is that possible? LOL)! So watch out and help out with suggestions!

Arriving Home!
This picture totally cracks me up! Rylie had been playing the Wii all day (so Lizzi says) by the time we got home Saturday night at 11. His hair was sticking up everywhere and he looked stoned from staring at the tv for too long! He obviously knew to do it when mom and dad were gone since we don't let him do that when we are here! LOL Rylie is growing his hair out (within reason) so it is a little out of control when it is not brushed! We love you Ry guy!

Xcaret (Ish-ca-ret)
View from one of the restaurants-this is where you can hang on the beach, snuba dive, snorkel, or swim with the dolphins!

Chichen Itza
Davey took this photo and I thought the moon in the background was so beautiful!
After visiting the sink hole we went to Chichen Itza, one of the 7 wonders of the world. It is an ancient Myan city that was partially cleared out and restored in 1841. Not everything has been restored or can be seen but what you can is amazing! The entire city is 15 square kilometers! The pyramid is 26 meters high. Inside the pyramid is another smaller pyramid. You can no longer climb the pyramid or go inside! Like the Egyptians the Myans based their building of the building on astronomy. Our calendar system is based on the Mayan's calendars! One of the most amazing things about the pyramid is that two times a year-once on the spring equinox on March 21, and again on the autumn one September 23, when the sun turns just right a snakes body appears on the pyramid to finish out the head of the snake that is located on one of the corners!! Over 40,000 people go these times of year just to see it! If you want to read more about Chichen Itza go to http://www.chichenitza.com/ There are so many more pictures and information that it is well worth the read if those kinds of things interest you! I highly suggest if anyone ever gets the chance go and see this amazing city!
