Thank You!

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who was so nice after my surgery!
I received many amazing meals, beautiful flowers, and concerned phone calls! It was so nice to not have to worry about meals-Davey and the kids especially loved it! I am feeling great! No more pain in my legs, hips, lower back, or feet! It is so nice to be pain free after 2 years!!! So again THANK YOU!!!

Poker Run

Last weekend Davey took Rylie and his friend Michael to the Poker Run out by Vantage. They had a great day! No one got hurt but Rylie (of course) did wreck and broke his back fender...Although I was sort of puzzled as to why he looked so happy about it in his picture! :-)

Moon

Several nights ago the moon was so beautiful I couldn't help but take some photos! I especially love the one with my mom's little house!

Something From Me!

I thought this would be fun to do:
The first 5 people to respond to this post will receive something made by me for you. I get to pick what I make for you, but it will be especially for you.** But here's the deal:
1. I make no guarantees that you will like what I make!
2. What I create will be just for you.
3. It will be done sometime this year.
4. You have no clue what it will be.
5. I reserve the right to do something extremely strange.
** The Catch? The catch is that you must repost this on your blog and offer the same to the first 5 people who do the same on their blog. The first 5 people to do so and leave a comment telling me they did will win a FABULOUS homemade gift by me (and possibly Sam if I can get his help)!!! So come and play along.

Boring?

I love looking at blogs. Some of them are people are I know and some of them are people I have never met and probably never will! I love to see what they are doing, the pictures they post, and the thoughts they have. In doing all this I have decided I lead a very boring life! Everyone seems to have something to say or something they are doing! So I am vowing to become more exciting! To take more pictures, to do more things, and to have more to say (is that possible? LOL)! So watch out and help out with suggestions!

Arriving Home!

This picture totally cracks me up! Rylie had been playing the Wii all day (so Lizzi says) by the time we got home Saturday night at 11. His hair was sticking up everywhere and he looked stoned from staring at the tv for too long! He obviously knew to do it when mom and dad were gone since we don't let him do that when we are here! LOL Rylie is growing his hair out (within reason) so it is a little out of control when it is not brushed! We love you Ry guy!

Our Hotel

Beach out front of our Hotel

One of the swimming pools that overlooks the ocean!

The lobby of the hotel.
The name of the hotel was the Royal Cancun and I highly suggest it to anyone! It was all inclusive so all meals and all drinks were included. It had 3 formal restaurants, one buffett, and one informal resteraunt!

Xcaret Part 2

One of our favorite things at Xcaret was an under ground river swim that is about 1/2 mile long. The caves are all natural and the water comes into them from the ocean! It is amazing. You can snorkel or just swim. We didn't see very many fish but it was still beautiful.
I tried to download more photos but it would not let me?? Anyone else been having this problem? It has been like this for the last week! UGH!

Xcaret (Ish-ca-ret)

Tiny baby turtles!

Big huge turtles!

View from one of the restaurants-this is where you can hang on the beach, snuba dive, snorkel, or swim with the dolphins!
Xcaret is an Eco park! It's kind of like a beach, an aquarium, a zoo, and a Mayan village all wrapped up in one! We met Rick and Connie and spent the day with them and had a great time! It was so unbelievably hot though! We saw some amazing animals, got to hang out on the beach, went through a Mayan cemetery, and had lots of laughs!
